About us

Our story…

It all began with a friendship. Joe and I met and fell in love in school at the University of Washington. We had both been admitted to the Foster School of Business in downtown Seattle and first met in class where we had mutual friends and studied together often.

We were there to support each other through major life events and it honestly wasn’t until one of our friends (whom also was our witness to us getting married) said ‘Hey Joe, did you ever think of dating Kim?’ And thats when it all began.

Fast forward 10 years later, we’ve been to numerous countries together. We have traveled to Canada (Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto), UK (Scotland, England), Asia (Japan, Bali), and Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns). We have built our little empire of passive income (more to come on that in the blog) and we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter who is a joy to raise and watch grow.

We are tech workers, we have corporate tech jobs in the Seattle area, we live downtown Seattle in one of the local neighborhoods and we have a passion for health/food and being the best versions of ourselves. This usually means trying new things, talking about our thoughts/feelings/opinions openly, keeping communication open all the time, going to therapy, keeping an open mind, and at the end of the day finding patience and love for each other and our growing beautiful family.

Outside of work we like trying new things, we both have little e-commerce shops we created online inspired by different things (more on that later too). We read a lot, we go outside a lot, and we’re always changing things up. I’ll keep developing this section as we go.
