Items I love right now in summer 2026

My list of likes and loves shifts all the time, I wanted to bring my current list together because I find it’s pretty well defined right now and I am honestly a little proud of it. Who knows, maybe it’s not for everyone but here are the things I am loving right now in the middle of 2026.

  1. Focaccia bread recipes - I have made countless focaccia bread recipes - I have been experimenting with the yeast, the ingredients I add to my focaccia and the amount of oil I use (the more the better). These are easy enough bread recipes to keep my daughter interested in it, and the one I love the most is from chatgpt with a little bit of an adjustment. Maybe I’ll write it out here and do a whole post on all the types of focaccia I’ve made!!

  2. Ines free skin care - Sunscreen, moisturizer, and Ceramide milk. All their products are amazing but these are some of my favorites.

  3. Madeca Cream - I am always looking for a cream that keeps my skin moisturized but isn’t oily and I have found the holy grail. This is moisturizing but not greasy, keeps my skin looking really good after I put it on. Maybe it’s just me being biased and feeling way too positive about it but this cream is amazing. I got it on Amazon and absolutely will be buying more.

  4. Glossier Boy Brow - Honestly was never expecting to even buy a brow pencil but I really like how long this one lasted me. I use makeup once in a while and found this pencil to be really easy to use, I really like the spoolie brush at one end to help blend in.

  5. Lemon (or lime) + Water - Super simple and easy peasy to make. I really have been enjoying drinking water with lemon (or lime) in the mornings before I have any caffeine.

  6. Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive - I am currently reading book two in the series called Words of Radiance and it’s hands down the best book I have ever read. The first book in the series called Way of Kings is also very very good. But when I read this series it’s like I’m watching it play out in a film, it has the right amount of detail but also the perfect amount of casual-ness to it. I read moments in this book and I can see them happening. They are long books, this one is 1300 pages long and I’ve never been one to read extra long books but I almost find myself wanting more detail and more pages.

I hope to refresh these lists once I find more things I am really enjoying but for now that’s it. It’s the little small things I’ve really been happy about and it’s truly been life changing for me. The makeup (not so much) but the life style habits that come along with each one. Like make up in general isn’t life changing but taking the time to put makeup on has been really nice to invest a few moments into me. Or reading books in the evening instead of scrolling!! Or lemon water before caffeine etc. Loving all of these and I hope you find a list of things you also love.
